Michael Cheever

Michael was a 2nd round draft pick in the NFL draft and the first center selected.  Ultimately, he was recruited by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was selected to the all-Rookie Team in 1996.  Michael is an elite competitor - a tier in which only those with solid work ethic, commitment, and discipline are included.  The same intensity and champion driven attitude Michael applied to the NFL carries through his real estate career.

Michael was born and raised in Metro Atlanta.  A Newnan high school graduate, he was an All-America football player lettering in basketball and soccer as well.  His talent was recognized with a full scholarship to Georgia Tech where he went on to start all four years at center.  Post NFL career, Michael entered business commerce with a sports marketing venture fund, Catalyst Marketing.  Soon after he started StayFit USA, a fitness and wellness employee benefits program.  Stayfit USA was sold to a publicly traded company in 2001.  It was then that Michael entered real estate.

Real estate is in Michael’s DNA.  With a mother as a Realtor for 30 years, brother as a mortgage broker, father-in-law as a home builder and brother as a home insurance agent, it was inevitable that he would dedicate his resourcefulness and integrity to helping individuals and families purchase and sell homes.  With over $250 million in closed transactions, Michael is a highly recognized Real Estate Consultant in the industry.  He is currently with Keller Williams. Michael launched a team in 2018 and  built it into one of the top real estate teams in the Southeast closing over 400 transactions per year.  

Michael and Shelley, his bride of 23 years, have two children (Ashlan 19, Alden 16).  He enjoys volunteering for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, golfing, reading, weight lifting, and yoga.  From 2008 to present he has been a volunteer at the YMCA.  Michael is also on the Board of Directors for CLC 2006 – 2018 and Weddington HOA from 2007 to present. 

Shelley Cheever was born and raised in Georgia. She is a Suma Cum Laude graduate of Mercer University with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems. She has lived in and around metro Atlanta her whole life and has extensive knowledge of the area. Shelley has been working in the real estate industry since 2003. She and her husband Michael work together as a team and have been residents of East Cobb for the past 18yrs. Shelley and Michael have a daughter and son. Shelley enjoys spending time with family, acting as the Vice-President for the Pope Tip Off Club, hiking and working out. 

Rob has been in the Real Estate business for more than 25 years. What sets him apart is his specialization in real estate finance, with over 18 years as a loan officer with World Savings & Loan, Wells Fargo & eventually partnering in a mortgage company here in East Cobb, where he funded more than $750 million in real estate transactions.
